After tying a few ROMs, mostly CM 12.1 and 13 on my S 8.4 WIFI, I came to realize that while these are commendable efforts, non of them is stable enough to do some real work with. Freezing, continuous booting, inaccessibility of bluetooth devices etc. are all part of the problems.
So, my basic feeling is that if you want to enjoy a new UI, flash your tablet and explore some new things (whenever the tablet is running) use these ROMS. If you need to do some work with the tablet, as unfortunate as it may be, stick with Samsung 5.0.2. Root it, but stick with it.
