the always on display brightness is apparently controlled by an
ambient light sensor, it's brighter in more light and darker in low
light. is there a way to disable the ambient sensor so it stays
bright all the time ? it's hard to see at night in the bedroom.

i was watching a review on Youtube and the guy was able to
add custom images to the always on display, his Note 7 (Sprint)
had version 1.7.29 always on display and mine (AT&T) has 1.5.84
and mine says it's the latest version with no option to update.
does anyone else have the newer version that allows using
custom images ?
