Lately I've been having an issue with the stock rom, where randomly throughout the day the phone will stop playing notification tones or any music. Google play music(and any other music app) just simply won't play anything at all until I reboot it. I don't have this problem on AOSP, the speakers work fine but have other non-related speaker issues.
Any ideas? I really like stock, and I love AOSP but one of the issues I've been having with AOSP makes stock seem more reliable except for the no sound issue.
TLDR; phone stops playing any music, or notification tones. Plays certain notification tones fine though
