My Moto G (2nd Gen)(XT1068) got stuck at the white screen with the green M logo. I'm able to boot into bootloader mode, but get the "boot up failed" when trying to enter into recovery from the menu :(
Cell is unrooted, original stock fw (KitKat->Lollipop).
I know, there are related threads. I did try reading many already, but couldn't get clear indications on how to proceed...
At this point I'd just like to understand what this error means, what the root cause is, and on what I should focus on to try to fix it... i.e. what not to try (so I know what to skip while going through all posts)
BTW, I tried to reflash stock with adb/fastboot, but got stuck with a "Preflash validation failed" error down the road when executing "fastboot flash boot boot.img" :(
Is this due to the previous "boot up failed" error"
