I have an A3000 and I am not exactly sure what to do with it post Lollipop.
The phone was bought from Hong Kong as a gift for my mother.
She sometimes complains about some apps being in Chinese (what's the proper term? Mandarin? I think that's it) and wonders if there will ever be a version without these apps.
What I've done with it so far:
-Mistakenly flashed an official 5.1 China ROM into it.
-Manually flashed an official 5.1 Hong Kong ROM.
So the questions are:
-What can I do now?
-Can the phone accept ROMs coming from other models? (SM-A300H for example) As I want to make it have a ROM meant for the Philippines.
-What are the differences between this A3000 and the rest of the models? (A300H/F etc...)
If you're wondering why I manually flashed official firmware:
-Kies wasn't showing the update on the day I found the ROM for Hong Kong
